"New Orleans to Paris"

Ceasar Elloie

Ceasar has performed in and around the New Orleans area for the past 30 years. He has performed with many of New Orleans’ greats including Marva Wright, James Rivers, Bo Dollis, Lady B.J. Crosby, Herlin Riley and Chris Severin. As early as his high school years, Ceasar’s talent was highly regarded by his peers. This was evident when in 1973, during Senior Night his classmates dubbed him as the next Al Green. In 1975, he was the male vocalist with Dr. Edward “Kid” Jordan’s Jazz Ensemble at Southern University in New Orleans. In 1983, Ceasar was honored with a standing ovation by the employees of the United States Embassy in Tokyo, Japan, after his performance of Al Jarreau’s “Black and Blues”. By 1996, Ceasar had released his first Maxi Single “Behind Closed Doors” on his record label, Number Three Turbine Records. In 1998, Ceasar took to the stage in Taipei, Taiwan, for a two month engagement which led to being invited back the following year for a repeat performance. During the 35th anniversary celebration of one of New Orleans’ major car dealerships, Banner Chevrolet, Ceasar’s voice was showcased regionally in radio and television ads

Ceasar’s most recent project was the release of his CD entitled “New Orleans to Paris”, recorded on his own record label and is heard nationally/internationally over WWOZ Radio in New Orleans.

In 2012 Ceasar took to both the Congo Square and the Allison Minor stages at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on May 6th.
